On 25th November 2022 (Friday), Zhonggu Shipping made its maiden voyage at Westports on its China Malaysia Indonesia Service (CMI) with 402 moves.
The service connects Westports from the Chinese ports of Qingdao, Shanghai and Ningbo to the Indonesian ports of Jakarta and Surabaya.
An exchange of commemorative plaques was done between Mr. Mohd Fadzlie, Vessel Operations Manager of Westports Malaysia, Capt. Wang Xi Qin, Master of MV. Zhong Gu Zhu Hai, and Mr. Steven Chew, Executive Director of Trans West Shipping. Also present were representatives from Westports Malaysia and Trans West Shipping.
