Westports has signed a partnership agreement with Westwell to deploy 60 electric trucks (E-Trucks) supported by PowerOnair smart battery-swap stations. This initiative supports Westportsโ decarbonisation efforts and advances to more efficient, lower-emission port operations.![]()

This partnership reflects a shared commitment to using AI and new-energy solutions in port activities. The operational deployment involves intelligent vehicles, smart energy management, and maintenance support, including battery swapping and coordinated charging. ![]()

The signing ceremony was officiated by Datuk Ruben Emir Gnanalingam, Executive Chairman of Westports Holdings Berhad, and Mr Kenny Tan, Executive Chairman and Founder of Westwell Technology Ltd, and witnessed by Datuk Eddie Lee, Group Managing Director of Westports Holdings Berhad, Mr Vijaya Kumar, CEO of Westports Malaysia, together with Ms Joey Zhou, Regional GM & Sales Head (Asia Pacific) of Westwell Technology, and Mr Chen Xin (VP of Qomolo Intelligent Vehicle Division) of Westwell Technology. The Container B Department successfully organised the Jelajah Komuniti Pulau Indah programme at Kampung Sungai Pinang as part of our engagement and contribution to the local community. ![]()

The programme featured a variety of meaningful activities, including surau clean-up works, traditional games, a dengue awareness briefing, as well as an affordable market and car boot sales organised by Pulau Indah residents.![]()
