Responsibilities :

1. Conduct daily site safety inspections and recommend corrective actions for unsafe act of workers and rectification for unsafe condition in all construction workplaces.
2. Take pro-active measures to identify hazard, assess the risk and implement suitable control measures to eliminate all construction dangers.
3. Enforce site safety rules to minimize work-related accidents and injuries.
4. Ensure subcontractors comply to the requirements of the construction Safety Management System which outlined their responsibilities and commitments.
5. Review all HIRARC and Job Hazard Analysis before its execution.
6. Coordinate with contractor where appropriate for any unfamiliar or hazardous operations being introduced onto the project and ensure the safety awareness remains high at all times.
7. Maintain pertinent information on Emergency Response Plan (ERP) and to ensure the relevant communication information is distributed to the responsible party.
8. Ensure contractors first aid facility and welfare facilities for workers are in good condition.
9. Recommend changes to construction operations or procedures to increase efficiency.
10. Handle site accidents in accordance with established accident protocol.
11. Review and maintain accurate records of contractors construction workers attendance.
12. Check sub-contractors’ work to ensure compliance with DOSH Act and the Regulations are complied with.
13. Liaise with contractor’s safety officer appointed with respect to safety of work undertaken by contractors.
14. Supports project engineer in monitoring and coordinating site works activities, engaging in the matters related to project NCR, corrective / preventive actions and site inspection documentations.

Work Experience Requirements :

• Minimum 2 years of working experience in project construction sites.
• Has attended site supervisor course or construction safety conducted by CIDB
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Possess good interpersonal, communication, technical writing skills and great team player.
• Willing to work additional hours to meet datelines

Qualification Requirements :

• At least a Diploma in engineering or construction-related fields
• Has attended DOSH site safety supervisor course and have passed site safety supervisor examination managed by NIOSH or institution recognized by DOSH.

Responsibilities :

1. Support construction works management in terms of site planning, affected internal stakeholder coordination during execution of site activities and commissioning works involved in assigned project.
2. Check plans, setting out, levelling, and surveying locations, drawings, and quantities for accuracy of constructions.
3. Ensure technical designs and drawings are applied correctly during constructions.
4. Ensure all project practices and material installations meet the quality and contractual specification requirements.
5. Coordinate and review of project technical specifications, submission of technical documents, inspection test plans, quality plan and to establish monitoring records for technical activities.
6. Monitor project site matters and coordinate all site inspection activities, engaging in matters related to project NCR and Corrective / Preventive Actions.
7. Mitigate and resolve asap any unexpected site problems that may occur or problem associated with quality control during the project progress immediately.
8. Ensure construction technical submissions review for approval are close within 5 days, proper maintenance of quality records data and completion of inspection and test documents.
9. Work with supervisors to ensure safety compliance and the creation of a safe construction working environment.
10. Assist in site verification works for contractor’s progress claims.
11. Render supports assistance to Environmental Officer in fieldworks data acquisitions.
12. Responsible to ensure the requirements of contract Safety Management System at construction site are implemented.
13. Review contractor’s Safety Management System in order to introduce improvement and amendments as to reflect changing work situation and progress at site.

Work Experience Requirements :

• Minimum 5 years of project sites working experience.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Additional knowledge in planning / engineering software will be an added advantage.
• Possess good interpersonal, communication, technical writing skills and great team player.
• Willing to work additional hours to meet datelines

Qualification Requirements :

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Project Management
• Strong leadership, technical project management skills across major marine and coastal works environment.

POSITION : EXECUTIVE

Job Summary :

IT Executive consists of staff who are responsible for support and maintenance of critical container operations, IT Systems, Software, and Hardware. The core objective is to ensure all mission-critical IT systems in Westports Terminal are available on a 24/7 basis. Other key roles involve IT system release management, maintenance activities, and administration roles. Staff will be also responsible for managing and delegating the task to IT Support (Non-Executives) ensuring all tasks are completed within KPI.

Key Responsibility :

1. IT Support 

• Reporting to IT Assistant Manager. 
• Managing a team of IT Non-Executives  
• Support and Maintenance of TOS system/servers (Terminal Operating System) 
• Support and Maintenance of CCTV System and Camera (Remote P-check System) 
• 2nd Level Support for End User Computing (PC, Laptop, Printers) 
• 2nd Level Support for Mobile devices on Equipment (Tablets) 
• 2nd Level Support for DTRS devices (Base Set and Walkie Talkie) 
• System Administration 
• Asset Maintenance 
• Registration of incidents in the Helpdesk Ticketing System 

2. Operation Management 

• To support TOS application server and system-related issues and ensure issues are addressed and resolved within target KPIs. 
• Ensure TOS Server maintenance & deployment are carried out as per MOP. 
• To support CCTV incidents related to application/infra/hardware and ensure issues are addressed and resolved within target KPIs. 
• Ensure configuration of cameras/Routers/Switches/Tablets and accessories for Hot Swap are done within KPIs. 
• 2nd level support for End end-user computing jobs involving installation/maintenance/repair of Computer Hardware/Software (Desktop and Laptops), Printers, and Peripheral devices. 
• 2nd level support for Mobile Device incidents related to application/hardware and ensure issues are addressed and resolved within target KPIs. 
• 2nd level support for DTRS Device incidents related to infra/hardware and ensure issues are addressed and resolved within target KPIs. 
• To ensure System Administration (Create/edit/delete) access is completed within KPI’s. 
• To ensure all Asset maintenance is carried out as per schedule without interruption to services and business. 
• Ensure all IT system-related incidents are registered in the Helpdesk Ticketing System for escalation. 
• Ensure all task delegated to IT Nonexecutives is effectively monitored to ensure issues are addressed and resolved within target KPIs. 

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s Degree in information technology or relevant IT field with 2-3 years of working experience. 
• Strong understanding of the functions of IT Computer and mobile systems, hardware, software, and other peripheral equipment.

POSITION : MANAGER

Job Summary :

• Responsible for managing and reviewing energy efficiency project development which includes, establishing basic/ detailed engineering design, specification, capital and operations expenditures, execution schedule, tendering contracting in industrial setting.
• Understand project requirements, collecting energy data to understand energy profile and consumption.
• Supervise and review feasibility studies energy simulations basic/ detailed and front-end engineering designs of utility systems
• Liaise with internal engineering team, consultants suppliers to understand, establish, review, validate and issue the project specifications (M&E equipment system, infrastructure structural & civil work) , capital expenditures operation expenditures and the performance guarantees, liaise with customer including presentation and validation
• Liaise with Malaysian Authorities, utilities and Government Agencies for project incentives application/ coordination, regular and special inspections, infrastructure and project authorization, licensing issues and for general project implementation coordination required.

Key Responsibility :

1. Audits and Compliance

• Conduct physical inspections of facilities and equipment to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Review standard operating procedures (SOP) and processes.
• Ensure compliance with relevant energy regulations and acts, including key interactions with authorities and agencies.
• Prepare scorecards to track the company's progress in energy management.

2. Energy-Saving Strategies

• Implement energy benchmarking, consumption reduction measures, cost-saving initiatives, and greenhouse gas emission reduction strategies.
• Continuously monitor and verify energy flows.
• Set goals for energy-saving projects and report progress to management and investors.

3. Utility Budget

• Develop an annual budget for energy consumption.
• Estimate projected energy savings and calculate current energy and utilities costs.

4. Project Management

• Propose and lead initiatives aimed at reducing the carbon footprint.
• Regularly review and set targets for carbon footprint reduction.
• Take the lead on sustainability projects.
• Conduct research and prepare whitepapers on energy and fuel usage in the port.

5. Technology

• Engage in research and development related to the implementation of green technologies, such as solar and wind power, in port operations and logistics.
• Explore innovative approaches to energy consumption and management.

6. Employee Engagement

• Organize workshops, training sessions, and communication efforts to educate employees and vendors about energy management and sustainability.

Requirements :

• Professional engineer status with 3 to 5 years of experience in energy project management, or possess a degree in Science, Engineering, or Architecture.
• Hold a certificate of competency as an Electrical Services Engineer or as a Competent Electrical Engineer in accordance with the Electricity Regulations 1994.
• Be a Registered Electrical Engineer Manager (REEM) [ST].
• Possess a strong working knowledge of energy utility systems.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Have strong quantitative and technical skills related to facilities and equipment.

Melaksanakan tugas kawalan keselamatan aset Westports Malaysia melibatkan keselamatan fizikal, dokumen dan personel di bangunan dan premis Westports Malaysia termasuk kawasan-kawasan yang diisytiharkan sebagai Kawasan Larangan dan Tempat Larangan di bawah Akta Kawasan Larangan dan Tempat Larangan 1959 (Akta 298).

2. SYARAT PERMOHONAN

Calon hendaklah memenuhi kelayakan berikut :-

• Warganegara Malaysia; dan
• Berumur tidak kurang dari 18 tahun dan tidak melebihi 40 tahun pada tarikh tutup iklan; dan

(a). Calon haruslah memiliki syarat berikut :

i. Lulus Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia atau kelayakan yang diiktiraf setaraf dengan nya oleh Kerajaan dengan kelulusan 5 subjek termasuk Sejarah dan Bahasa Melayu; atau

ii. Lulus Sijil Vokasional Malaysia atau kelayakan yang diiktiraf setaraf dengan nya oleh Kerajaan dengan mempunyai purata nilai gred kumulatif akademik (sekurang-kurangnya 2.00), purata nilai kumulatif vokasional (sekurang-kurangnya 2.67) dan kompeten semua modul vokasional; dan

iii. Keutamaan memiliki lesen memandu kelas B2/B dan D/E2/E1/E; dan

iv. Ketinggian 1.63cm tanpa berkasut dan berat 50kg bagi lelaki; atau

v. Ketinggian 1.57cm tanpa berkasut dan berat 48kg bagi wanita; dan

vi. Mempunyai ukuran Indeks Jisim Badan (BMI) antara julat 19 hingga 26; dan

viii. Bagi lelaki sahaja : ukuran lilitan dada biasa 81cm (Normal) dan semasa menarik nafas 86cm; dan

ix. Tiada masalah penglihatan (rabun jauh / dekat / warna); dan
