TERMINAL TRACTOR, SHIFT ENGINEERS

POSITION : EXECUTIVE

Job Summary :

The primary role will be to supervise and provide technical expertise to the technicians. The Terminal Tractor Shift Engineers will work closely with the Senior Shift Engineer to ensure smooth operations and efficient maintenance of terminal tractors, trailers, and tires.

Key Responsibility :

  • Ensure equipment is 100% available and reliable for operation usage and update equipment status accurately for every shift.
  • Ensure contractor and breakdown team performance in managing breakdown cases with KPI of MMBF more than 1700 moves and MTTR below 17 mins.
  • Monitor Terminal Tractor and Tyre contractor compliance as per contract in managing maintenance & breakdown cases. To issue LAD and come out with an action plan for non-compliance cases.
  • Maintain accurate reporting and status of Terminal Tractor Section equipment availability and closely work with operations to meet the demand.
  • Prepare accident reports and follow up with the resources team on cases/repair cost /`improvement plan and improvise Pre Operation Checking (POC) or Plan Preventive maintenance.
  • Measuring and reporting the effectiveness of workshop activities, health, safety, environmental, and housekeeping.

Requirements :

  • Degree in Environmental/ Mechanical / Engineering Course / Engineering background.
  • Required languages: English, Bahasa Melayu
  • At least 2-3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • An ability to work well under pressure and meet strict project deadlines.
  • Dynamic, self-motivated, mature, and able to work in a team-based environment with minimum supervision.
  • Excellent technical skills and knowledge.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Working experience & knowledge in Asset & Supply Chain Management Systems
