Role Summary:

Lead and manage the organization’s sustainability initiatives to meet global sustainability goals.

Responsibility :

  • Collaborates with appropriate departmental managers to facilitate performance evaluations on sustainability goals.
  • Plan and craft strategy to improve rating ESG ratings in Global Rankings.

Task :

  • Evaluate the efficacy of sustainability programs; recommend and implement improvements as necessary.
  • Drafts and implements sustainable organizational policies that address environmental concerns.
  • Prepare and publish the company’s annual sustainability report
  • Drafts and prepares reports, presentations, and proposals; presents proposals and recommendations to the Chief Executive Officer, Board of Directors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Develops and maintains appropriate documentation and records including budgets and other financials that are required by certifying bodies or auditors
  • Maintains current working knowledge of, and ensures compliance with, all applicable local, state, federal, and internal environmental laws and regulations.·  Evaluates efficacy of sustainability programs; recommends and implements improvements as necessary.

  • Brainstorms and identifies creative ways in which the company can balance business obligations to respect, support, and improve the local and global environments.
  • Assesses and analyzes company policies and processes to identify areas in and processes to which improvements can be made per the organization’s commitment to sustainability.
  • Considers sustainability proposals with attention to factors such as cost-effectiveness, feasibility, and ease of integration with other programs.

Requirements :

  • Education – Hold a degree in any field 
  • Experience – Has 4 to 6 years of implementing sustainability initiatives and preparing data for the organization’s annual sustainability report. Ability to develop strategy and frameworks to meet sustainability goals.
