POSITION : SENIOR EXECUTIVE

Job Summary :

IT Executive consist of 2 executive staff per shift group who are responsible for support and maintenance for critical container operations IT Systems, Software and Hardware. IT system support is related to TOS (Terminal Operating System), RPS (Remote P-check System), QTAB (QC Tablet Application System). IT Hardware and Software support is inclusive of 2nd level support for End User Computing – PC/Laptop/Printers at the entire terminal, Tablets for Quay Cranes(QC), Terminal Trucks (TT), RTG and Stackers, Shuttle Bus(SH), Operations Staff(CTAB) and Digital Truck Radio System(DTRS) equipment’s (Base Set & Walkie Talkie) used on equipment’s and by end users.

Key Responsibility :

  • To support TOS application server and system-related issues and ensure issues are addressed and resolved within target KPIs.
  • To ensure TOS UAT is completed based on test requirements and as per timeline.
  • Ensure TOS Server maintenance & deployment are carried out as per MOP.
  • Ensure all TOS-related incidents are registered in the Helpdesk System for escalation.
  • To support RPS incidents related to application/infra/hardware and ensure issues are addressed and resolved within target KPIs.
  • To support QTAB incidents related to application/hardware and ensure issues are addressed and resolved within target KPIs
  • Ensure all RPS /QTAB-related incidents are registered in the Helpdesk System for escalation.
  • To ensure the configuration of Cameras/Routers/Switches/Tablets and accessories for Hot Swap are done within KPIs.
  • Ensure RPS / QTAB maintenance is carried out as per schedule without interruption to services and business.
  • 2nd  level support for TTAB incidents related to application/hardware and ensure issues are addressed and resolved within target KPIs.
  • 2nd  level support for DTRS incidents related to infra/hardware and ensure issues are addressed and resolved within target KPIs
  • Ensure all TTAB /DTRS-related incidents are registered in the Helpdesk System for escalation.
  • To ensure TTAB Tablet & DTRS maintenance are carried out as per schedule without interruption to services and business.
  • 2nd  level support for EUC involving installation/maintenance/repair of Computer Hardware (Desktop and Laptops), Peripheral devices, and printers.
  • 2nd  level support for EUC involving installation/maintenance/repair of Computer Software (Operating System, Email Services, MS Office products, Antivirus, Internal Application).
  • To ensure EUC maintenance is carried out as per schedule without interruption to services and business.
  • Ensure EUC deployment, relocation, and all ad-hoc requests are completed within schedule.
  • Ensure all EUC-related incidents are registered in the Helpdesk System for escalation.
  • 2nd  level support for RTG’s and Stacker’s Tablets related to application/hardware and ensure issues are addressed and resolved within target KPIs.
  • To ensure RTG’s and Stacker’s Tablets maintenance is carried out as per schedule without interruption to services and business.
  • Ensure all RTGs and Stacker’s Tablets-related incidents are registered in the Helpdesk System for escalation.
  • To ensure User Access Admin Roles are completed within KPIs and basic system function is briefed to the requestor.
  • One Stop Helpdesk Center for all Container Application related issues and ensure escalation is done promptly.

    Requirements :
  • Bachelor’s Degree in information technology or relevant IT field with 2-3 years of working experience.
  • Strong understanding of the functions of IT Computer and mobile systems, hardware, software, and other peripheral equipment.            
  • Strong Communication & Interpersonal Skills                                                                      
  • Strong IT Support and troubleshooting Skills                            
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving.
  • Good requirement gathering and software testing skills.
  • Good documentation and reporting skills.
