Responsibility :

Ensure IT outsourcing vendors deliver all contractual obligations to ensure there is no disruption to operations.

Knowledge / Experience :

  • IT Infrastructure – 10 years, ITIL certified, experienced in IT Infrastructure Operation
  • IT Service Management – 10 years, ITSM Certified, experienced in implementing all ITSM components
  • Network – 3 years, working knowledge of network
  • Server – 7 years, knowledge of Servers, virtualization, containerization, Hyperconverged Infrastructure, and Middleware technology. Understand the software licensing mechanism
  • Storage – 5 years, experience in handling large databases and familiar with database environment. Experienced with SAN and NAS technology
  • IT Security – 4 years, working knowledge of Active Directory, EndPoint Protection, hardening standards, and 3 tiers architecture

Task : 

  • Monitor and ensure that IT operations can meet deliverables 24/7
  • Leads meetings with vendor and assess performance based on a contractual agreement
  • Review reports from IT Outsourcing vendor and ascertains accuracy to meet compliances and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure IT Outsourcing vendor contractual obligation is met in terms of the quality of delivery and execution
  • Recommendations to management on vendors status and prepare reports in vendor meeting service level agreements
  • To propose improvements or enhancements to current IT Operations to increase the efficiency to meet current operational needs. Ensure optimal utilization of current IT Infrastructure
  • Review data flow and integration pathway between various systems, applications, databases, and entities.
  • Overlooking migrations of applications independently to the cloud-based environment

Problem Solving : 

  • Managing and escalation issues raised by users, internal teams, and vendors
  • Able to size issues and prepare relevant suggestions or options to resolve issues
  • Able to capture recommendations from all parties and formulate a long-term fix to issues
  • To account for challenges arising from load balancing, scalability of usage, and increase of data/traffic.
  • Ability to formulate long term strategy

  • To be decisive and authoritative in decision making

  • Overall delivery of IT Operations
  • Asses and rate deliverables of IT Outsourcing Vendor
  • Solutions and service recovery of IT Operations
