POSITION : NON-EXECUTIVE

JOB SUMMARY :

Extending Supportive Medical / Emergency Care and Managing Services Provided By the In-House Clinic through Professional and Committed Continuous Care.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES :

  1. Assist and ensures that all patients are registered in the CMS within 10 minutes of their presence in the clinic
  2. Assist doctors with first aid care, dressings, minor surgical, diagnostic procedures and treatment
  3. Assist doctors in liaising with the Panel Hospitals on patient’s follow-up appointments, medical bills and medical conditions
  4. Assist the Medical Team with Pre employment medical checkup, Medical surveillance  and upgrading exercise.
  5. Ensure adequate medical supplies by stock checking, raising PRs and purchasing medications in accordance to Company’s SOP.
  6. Assist in verifying invoices from panel hospitals by going through itemize billing and supporting guarantee letters.
  7. Verifying panel clinics invoices and querying on any discrepancies with the panel doctors / billing clerks
  8. In charge of medical schedule waste
  9. Ensure staff welfare by visiting critically ill staff / dependent in hospital and provide medical counseling.
  10. Assist in all administrative functions of the clinic e.g. filing, group dependents hospitalization scheme, ante natal claims and dental claims records.
  11. Assist in the monitoring, managing and counseling of employees with chronic medical conditions
  12. Assist with Safety, Health and Environment  issues
  13. Ensuring adherence to regulations of Primary Health care services as per MOH requirements

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS :

  • Diploma / Certificate In Medical Assistant/any medical field
  • Certified First Responder / Basic Life Support (optional)
  • Must Be Computer Literate
  • At Least 2 Years Working Experience Especially In An Accident And Emergency Department
  • Certified Trainer (Optional)

COMPLEXITIES, CHALLENGES & DECISION-MAKING LEVEL :

  • Impromptu Decisions For Treatment, Referrals And Admissions
  • Emergency First Response

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS :

Internal:

  • Liaise closely with all categories of staff
  • Liaise with Finance Department with regards to invoices and payments

External:

  1. Liaise with external panel clinics, laboratories, panel hospitals, dependents, government bodies, insurances.
